The babyballet® syllabus offers four stages of dance classes that your child can progress through, plus a tap class for the over 3s.
Suitable for boys and girls of all abilities, all babyballet® classes are non-competitive and taught in a relaxed and welcoming environment. All babyballet® teachers are fully qualified, fun and friendly and they make it their priority to ensure every child feels welcome and included. Of course, our teachers are fully vetted with an up-to-date WWC check in place, so you can be sure your child is in safe hands. The classes are a great social setting for parents and carers too, so you are sure to make some new friends while you’re there with your little stars!

babyballet® Hampton will not be offering the tots class in term 3.
tinies 18 months – 3 years (40 minutes)
The Tinies class introduces little ones to the basics of ballet using movement, play and song.
Building on the movement and songs taught in the Tots class, babyballet Tinies develop their physical and communication skills in this fun-filled, lively environment. Parents are still very much involved, as the children learn to move in time to the music whilst stimulating their imaginations and learning to count through song.
After the 3 x trial class package for $15 tinies classes are $16 per class charged on a term basis (price ex gst)
movers 3 – 4 years (45 minutes)
The babyballet Movers classes encourages preschool children to combine their imaginations with dance using movement and song.
The preschool years are crucial in your little one’s development. Our Movers class focuses on the further physical development of your child through dance, in combination with the use of imaginative storytelling. The Movers class is more than just dancing – it also gives children the chance to learn valuable skills by responding positively to both the teacher and the other children in the class.
After the 3 x trial class package for $15 movers classes are $17 per class charged on a term basis (price ex gst)
tappers 3 years onwards (15 minutes)
Our preschool age tappers class is perfect for younger children who like to make a noise in their tap shoes!
For movers students this class is an optional add on but is compulsory addition for groovers students.
For children aged 3 and above, this dynamic, upbeat class teaches little ones basic tap steps accompanied by catchy music and songs.
Tappers classes for movers are $5 per class charged on a term basis (price ex gst) A 5% discount is applied as a second class. The fee is included into the groovers class for over 4s
No tap shoes?? No worries. We have a selection of tap shoes that can be borrowed for the lessons – because it’s not as fun if you can’t make the noise!
groovers and tappers 4 – 6 years (65 minutes with a 5 minute break to change shoes)
The final stage of babyballet is our Groovers class which focuses on improving co-ordination, self control and social skills, in a supportive and non-judgemental environment.
This school age class is a perfect way to bolster the preschool learning programme by working on core development skills such as spatial awareness, numeracy and communication, as well as furthering their dance technique through a more structured ballet program. Using simple steps as the basis of the class, children learn ballet in a friendly and non-competitive environment. Class will commence with a 15 minute tappers class.
After the 3 x trial class package for $15 groovers/tappers classes are $20 per class charged on a term basis (price ex gst)
